Blink 182 - Neighborhoods (2011)

Recommended tracks:- Wishing well
- Ghost on the dance floor
- Fighting the gravity
Blink 182 are a band that has been through the motions, they have been together for 20 years, made five albums, split up in 2005, each band member joined/started a new band, came back in 2009 and have been touring ever since with a sixth album. The result of Neighborhoods comes with the changes that each band member came back with from their bands, you can hear such influences in some of the songs. It gives a fresh feeling to this album , like the band decided to wipe the slate clean and start anew. It's different, of course, and has come a long way since the Enema of the state era but it gives the listener something to dwell on too. In fact, the closest you will find to  Blink in that era is the song, Heart's all gone. Blink have long gone changed their styles since that album but the fans don't mind. Each song is catchy and easy to understand the lyrics, you can see how much they have grown up from the songs they once sung of from such obscenities.
Overall, the album is impressive and enjoyable , the fans may have grown up since Blink have come back but they still have the same love they had from before the band split up. Blink 182 are currently on the European tour and it seems there's nothing to stop them from going up and taking back the punk rock industry.
